Johannesburg, South Africa – South African hip-hop star, Spaza rapper, and 38 Talent artist, Lolli Native, hosted an exclusive listening session yesterday in Johannesburg for his much-anticipated new album, Amandla, which released today.
The invitation-only event, proudly sponsored by 38 Talent, gathered family, media, and fellow artists for a first look at Lolli's new album. Amandla - meaning “power" in Xhosa - showcases Lolli's dynamic artistry, mixing his iconic Spaza rap together with bold new collaborations. Guests at the listening session were treated to an immersive preview of the project, with Lolli himself walking the audience through the inspirations behind the album.
Adding to the evening’s significance, a number of Lolli's peers and friends came out to celebrate his milestone. Among the attendees were Sjava and fellow members of the ATM (African Trap Movement) crew, who joined the audience in celebrating Lolli's growth and the powerful message behind Amandla.
